Frankincense Resin

FRANKINCENSE SACRA
HOJARI RESIN | 20G

A precious aromatic resin gathered from Boswellia sacra trees growing across the ancient landscapes of Oman and Yemen. This species produces what is widely regarded as the finest quality Frankincense available.

Frankincense trees are incredibly resilient, flourishing in some of the most adverse and unforgiving conditions. They grow slowly and only begin producing resin once they reach approximately 8–10 years of age.

The resin is traditionally harvested by making a series of careful incisions in the tree’s bark. With each successive collection, the resin becomes purer, clearer and more precious.

Overharvesting has placed wild Frankincense populations under increasing pressure, making conservation and responsible harvesting deeply important. Our premium Hojari Frankincense is imported directly from ethically controlled harvests in Oman, honouring both the ancient trees and the people who tend them.

When warmed over charcoal, Hojari Frankincense releases a bright, citrus-like fragrance with soft woody and balsamic notes. Traditionally treasured for cleansing sacred spaces, deepening meditation and inviting peace, clarity and spiritual connection.
