We know the powerful effects that crystals have on us, and many of us choose to use them in meditation or wear our favourite stones. But did you know that crystals placed in the right part of your house can also have a huge effect on the energy and vibrations within your home?
PROTECTION & CLEANSING
Black Tourmaline is one of our favourites for protection and cleansing. Think of it as having a team of security guards at your front door helping to ward off and protect your home from negative energy. For this reason we love a piece of tourmaline in a pot plant or near the front door of your home, only allowing love, light, and happiness to enter.
Most homes these days have a lot of technology in them. Computers, wifi routers, TV’s, phones… pretty much anything electrical all put out an EMF charge. This charge can interfere with our own energy and make us feel tired, lethargic, or out of sorts. Since crystals give out energies, you can use specific crystals to help combat these EMF frequencies. We recommend using Amazonite or Tourmaline near your computer or TV to help protect you while you work and relax. Wifi routers are also a huge source of EMF energy, so popping one of these crystals near your router will help too.
For overall cleansing of a space you can’t go past Selenite. This crystal maintains an energetically light space, full of uplifting and high vibe energies. This crystal can be placed literally anywhere in your home, but we especially love to place it in living rooms and bedrooms for an overall positive feel to your home. I also have a piece in the kitchen so I can hold onto it while waiting for the jug to boil.
HARMONY & PEACE
Some days you just feel like you need a loving embrace from your Mum or Nana. Rose Quartz provides that with its loving, warm energy, enhancing self-love and the love of others. It reminds you to be aware of your self and ensure self care! We love Rose Quartz in the bathroom, next to the bed and in the main living space.
Howlite is amazing for promoting a relaxing and calm environment and this is one of our favourite crystals for a relaxing and deep sleep and so perfect for the bedroom.
Amethyst is an epic all rounder. It’s an air purifier, removes negativity and enhances positive vibes. It’s a good one to have in your room for allllll the good vibes while you sleep!
ABUNDANCE
Citrine is known as the merchants stone. This beauty radiates abundance, and it also increases feelings of confidence, self-worth and joy, so is so epically important to have near you in your home. We love to place a tower (to radiate this abundance even stronger) in the furthermost southeast corner of our home. For me this is the en-suite which brings so much joy each morning as she shines rainbows upon us. For Claire this is her dining room which is even more magical as the whole family get to enjoy her radiant energy.
For those who work from home, as Citrine helps to bring prosperity and financial abundance, it is a beautiful stone to have near your workspace. It’s also a stone of personal power and positivity making your day and energy shine brighter.
